About Us
Competition Teams
The Competition Team competes in Hip Hop and Jazz each year, regionally and nationally. We travel to Orlando, Florida to compete at the ESPN Center through the Universal Dance Association where colleges around the country showcase their talent. Our biggest focus is preparing for the National competition and representing Worcester State University. We also compete at Westfield State University through UDA's Regional Competition. We are currently ranked 7th in the nation for open Hip Hop, and 14th for open jazz. The Competition Team practices 2-3 times a week starting in September through April.
Performance Team
The Performance team dances at various campus events such as home football games and select basketball games. We showcase our skills every year at Homecoming, pep rally, and our own annual end of the year show. The performance team practices twice a week depending on game schedules, and provides the opportunity for a less strict commitment while still being part of the team.
